As shown in Figure 11, excavators later placed excavation units over the area of anomaly B outlined in the data map above, and uncovered Feature 4, which consists of the foundation remains of a mid-nineteenth century house.
The large white and black anomaly appearing immediately beneath the label "Block 7, Lot 1" in the data map above was also tested by excavators, who placed an excavation unit over that area, as shown in Figure 9. That excavation unit uncovered Feature 3, which consists of stone foundation remains of a late-nineteenth century house.
Both of these areas also showed relatively high concentrations of artifacts on the ground surface in an earlier, walk-over survey.
