This excerpt from the 1876 Map of Pike County, shows the towns of Philadelphia and Hadley Station within Hadley Township, and the town of Barry in adjacent Barry township, all in Pike County, and the area roads and railroad. As you can see from this map, the Hannibal and Naples Railroad, completed in this area in 1869, was referred to as the Wabash line at this time.
